Fired earth with a working history
The tiles were lifted in sequence from a single kitchen. Colour moves from pale apricot to a deeper iron red, which is why they should be laid as a recovered field rather than a new product.
We supply a laying plan that keeps adjacent tiles together. Sealing is left to the project: oil for kitchens, breathable mineral sealers for cooler rooms.
Applications
Best over a lime or flexible modern bed. Not for constantly saturated exteriors without a covering roof.
